The ability to move e-mails and attachments directly from Outlook to the cks.DIGITAL 4.0 module is a well-used function. Over time, Microsoft has made many changes to its Office solutions which have resulted in better security and higher requirements for third-party solutions. Moreover, it is not technically feasible to integrate our current Outlook Add-in into a cloud environment. So that you can continue moving e-mails and documents to the archive and to meet the high requirements of Microsoft’s current products, we’ve built a new add-in from scratch – cks.OUTLOOK.
cks.OUTLOOK meets the new standards and can be used with Microsoft 365, Office 2019 and Office 2021 both on-premise and in the cloud. It can also be used in the modern Outlook progressive Web app and works better on big screens. To implement this technically and to make it more efficient, we have integrated cks.OUTLOOK into our cks.RUN process automation solution.
It is unfortunately not feasible to update the current Outlook Add-in. If you want to continue moving documents from Outlook to cks.DMS, cks.ADC, cks.eINVOICE or cks.SwissQR, you will need an additional licence for cks.RUN. Please talk to your partner about this.
You can continue using the current Outlook Add-in after 31st December 2022, but we will stop support after this date. We will not be able to rectify errors and malfunctions. It will also not be possible to update cks.DIGITAL 4.0.
