The long-awaited CKS.DMS Version 4 has arrived! A particular highlight of this new version is that you can now edit PDF documents. This development gives you the option of processing your documents digitally. PDF documents can now be stamped and described during the archive or mass scan. Afterwards, documents are then saved as newly revised. As before, all changes are tracked and your documents are archived in a legally compliant manner.
As always, C.K. Solution is looking towards the future and in Version 4 ZUGFeRD information is generated automatically for outgoing invoices when they are printed and archived. ZUGFeRD, which is the format for electronic invoices in Germany, is already well-known to many and it works using the XML information that can be extracted from PDF files. For quite some time now, CKS.DMS has enabled such ZUGFeRD files to be imported and, with a trusted partner, we're taking another step towards paperless processing. Our partner processes all incoming invoices, whether via post or e-mail, and generates ZUGFeRD files from them that can be imported. This enables fully automated processing of incoming invoices. It also greatly simplifies the future of the increasingly electronic invoice flow.
We've listened to our customers and we're pleased to announce that documents can now be assigned to a particular department. In many businesses documents are passed from one department to another, all of which usually process the document in some way. Now you can name each department and track changes using the newly integrated change log.
Finally, we're looking towards the future again as more and more customers use SAP HANA. It goes without saying that our Add-on works perfectly with HANA and now we've adapted our design to match the new Fiori Interface.
