The annual SAP Quality Awards recognise customer projects that achieve outstanding levels of quality in the areas of project management and project implementation. At the most recent event at the SAP Arena in Mannheim, our partner AdS Consulting achieved the bronze level of this prestigious award. The good news for us is that it was for an implementation where our CKS.DMS solution played a central role.
The customer, Formpack GmbH (profile below), is using SAP Business One with the archiving and document management solution CKS.DMS as well as product modules from the beas group. From start to finish, the whole implementation of SAP Business One with the various add-on solutions took just three and a half months.
Jürgen Ruppel and Gerd Rust from Formpack received the award this weekend at the SAP Arena in Mannheim together with Johannes Buhleier from Ads Consulting GmbH in attendance.

The Customer
Formpack GmbH was founded on 1.4.1980 by Gerd Rust and Udo Kraft in Limeshain. In 1988 they moved to Altenstadt, 25 km north-east of Frankfurt. Their current factory floor is 2100 square metres and they have 1000 square metres of storage space. The company directors are assisted by 30 motivated employees in providing packaging solutions made from Styropor, polyethylene foam and polyurethane foam.
Production is flexible and economic due to their state-of-the art technology which includes electronically and remotely controlled CAD/CAM plate and contour cutters, large surface presses and a water jet cutting device.
ERP system: SAP Business One with CKS.DMS
SAP Business One is being used with beas enhancements and CKS.DMS. Both modules are working in perfect conjunction with SAP Business One.
Last but by no means least, the extra Add-ons such as CKS.DMS and the beas production tool mean that the customer's requirements are being met extraordinarily well. Production runs smoothly and significant time savings have been made due to the largely paper-free workflow that the CKS.DMS archive enables. The automation of the document flow was an important part of this.
